Gibbs mentors young Nyanga children on the streets

Six weeks of entertaining street cricket has culminated into one big day at this year’s Sporting Chance Street Cricket Championship Finals taking place on Thursday 26th November 2009, where all the winning regional teams will battle it out for the coveted trophy.

British Lions  kept their unbeaten record against the Southern Kings  a new franchise from the Eastern at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth. Despite the Southern Kings loss of  20-8, Sevens star Mpho Mbiyoza was awarded the Man of the Match award for his outstanding performance as openside flank.
